New Paths Tutoring
Sometimes your child needs some extra help outside of school to meet their full potential. Jessica is a special education teacher and former reading interventionist. She can help your child on a New Path to education success.
Basic One-on-One Teacher-Led Tutoring
No learner is the same. New Paths will help determine the best path to meet the needs and goals of your learner. The initial session will include basic screening to determine your learner's strengths and needs. Together we will come up with a goal and plan to meet that goal. The frequency and number of sessions will be determined based on the learners needs and goals. Each session is about 45 minutes. Cost depends on the level of needs of your learner and the amount of preparation required of the tutor. Discounts applied for multiple learner families.
Small-group Teacher-Led Tutoring
When available, small-group sessions with no more than three learners will be available at a discounted rate. Learners will be grouped based on similar needs and grades/ages. This is not intended for siblings. Each session is about 45 minutes. Cost depends on the level of needs of your learner and the amount of preparation required of the tutor.
Learn to Tutor Package
Maybe you feel like you can tutor your own learner, but just need help getting on that New Path. The Learn to Tutor package is a a 3-session package which includes initial basic screening, review of results, and two tutoring sessions which include teaching the parents/guardians how to continue tutoring at home. Note this package is only recommended for learners with basic tutoring needs to stay on track. It is not recommended for struggling learners who are substantially below grade level. Each session will last approximately 1-hour to include extra time for teaching the adults. Cost depends on the level of needs of your learner and the amount of preparation required of the tutor. Discounts applied for multiple learner families.
